LLobby

Hi, I'm Kedric.

I spent years in enterprise technology, from the support phones to senior management. Now I help small businesses and nonprofits in Metro Atlanta get their technology working for them, in plain English.

1The Foundation

Built inside big organizations.

Before Tech Upstairs, I spent years inside large organizations, from answering support calls to leading teams as a senior manager. Here's what that work looked like.

HP

I started on HP's support phones, helping customers whose internet wouldn't connect, ran slow, or needed a device software update. Other techs were already coming to me with tough calls, so I was promoted to floor lead, where I handled escalations, helped techs when they got stuck, and ran quality reviews. The team understood the process better, and more customers got their problem fixed on the first call.

Local government, Solicitor General's office

The Solicitor General's office had 55 people, more than 200 devices, and court dates that couldn't wait on a broken computer. I handled support for the whole department and kept every device updated, maintained, and replaced on a set schedule planned around the office's calendar, so the staff could stay focused on their cases.

Wellstar Health System

At Wellstar Health System, troubleshooting took longer than it needed to, and keeping the employee timeclocks updated and running took a lot of hands-on work. I built a knowledge base so techs could find fixes faster, and I automated timeclock software updates, status checks, reboots, and inventory.

20% efficiency gain

Genuine Parts Company

At Genuine Parts Company, reports ran behind, invoice reviews ate up time, and updates for servers and business software moved slowly. My team and I cut down on reporting delays and invoice reviews, and we sped up those updates.

20% less admin work

Floor & Decor

When I joined Floor & Decor, the company was going live with a new employee timekeeping and scheduling system, and the rollout left my team dealing with a growing support backlog with long wait times. I set up ticket groups and automations so my team could answer faster and work down our backlog of support tickets.

2The Turn

The Turn

For years I worked in technology at HP, in local government, and at Wellstar Health System, Genuine Parts Company, and Floor & Decor. Along the way I was a technician, an analyst, a lead, and a senior manager.

I kept hearing from small business owners and nonprofit leaders who had become the IT person by accident. Nobody had shown them where to start.

So I built Tech Upstairs to give them clear answers and systems they can run on their own.

Community focus, enterprise thinking.

3Tech Upstairs

Tech Upstairs

Tech Upstairs

The name says what I believe: the right technology takes your business upstairs, to a higher level.

Every engagement runs through Tech Upstairs, LLC. Each one has a clear start, a clear finish, and you keep the keys.

AI Workflow Automation

Stop doing by hand what a system can do for you. I find where AI can save you real time, build the automation, and show your team how to run it.

Technology Strategy

A clear plan for the tools and systems your business actually needs. I map out what to keep, what to fix, and what to add, then hand you a roadmap your team can follow. No sales pitch.

Team Training

Your team learns to use the tools with confidence, in plain English, so the know-how stays with you.

4The Workshop

Things I built that are running right now.

How it works

  1. Public probate noticesRead every week, with no records request and no trip to the courthouse.
  2. AI pulls out each leadNames and details are read straight off the notice.
  3. Shared sheetEvery lead lands in one place the investor already knows how to use.
  4. Letters printed in batchesFollow-up goes out on a 90-day schedule.

Runs on its own each week.
